Terms and Conditions for SMS, Phone Call, and Email Communication

By subscribing to our SMS, phone, and email communications, you agree to the following terms:

Description of Services

The professional staff at Wallace Miller may communicate with you via phone call, email, and SMS for the following reasons:

  • Communication regarding inquiries or forms you have submitted to Wallace Miller or a Wallace Miller business partner.
  • Notifications and reminders of required, incomplete, or missing information or documentation related to your potential, active, or former case.
  • Legal updates or relevant case information from your case team.
  • Marketing communications from the Wallace Miller marketing team.

Consent

You consent to receive messages via phone, email, or SMS by:

  • Providing your phone number or email address to anyone on the Wallace Miller team or to a Wallace Miller business partner.
  • Signing a Retainer Agreement to have Wallace Miller represent you in a lawsuit.
  • Submitting a "Contact Form" or other inquiry via the www.wallacemiller.com website and including your phone number or email address.

Consent for marketing communications is not required to access legal services.

Frequency

Communications will generally be sent during regular office hours: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Central Time. Frequency may vary based on client preferences.

Opt-In or Out

SMS/Text Messaging

How to opt-in to receiving text messages:

  • Submit a form on our website and include your mobile number.
  • Email wmintakes@wallacemiller.com or mycase@wallacemiller.com requesting to receive text message communications, and include your mobile number.
  • Sign a Retainer Agreement for a case with Wallace Miller and include your mobile number in your contact information.
  • Reply "YES" to an SMS requesting that you opt-in to receiving communications from the Wallace Miller team.

How to opt-out of receiving text messages:

  • Reply "STOP" to any SMS communication from the Wallace Miller team.
  • Contact our office directly during business hours at 312-261-6193, or email us at wmintakes@wallacemiller.com or mycase@wallacemiller.com, requesting that SMS no longer be sent.
  • Contact your dedicated case team during business hours and request that SMS no longer be sent.

Opt-in or Out of Marketing Email Communications

How to opt-in to receiving marketing communications:

  • Sign a Retainer Agreement for a case with Wallace Miller and include your email address in your contact information.
  • Email marketing@wallacemiller.com, requesting to receive marketing communications, and include your email address.
  • Subscribe to the Wallace Miller monthly client newsletter.

How to opt-out of receiving marketing communications:

  • At the bottom of any marketing communication, click Unsubscribe.
  • Email marketing@wallacemiller.com, requesting to unsubscribe from receiving marketing communications, and include your name and email address.

Opt-in or Out of Phone Communications

How to opt-in to receiving phone calls:

  • Submit an inquiry or form to Wallace Miller or to a Wallace Miller business partner, including your phone number.
  • Sign a Retainer Agreement for a case with Wallace Miller and include your phone number.

How to opt-out of receiving phone calls:

  • Contact your dedicated case team during business hours to discuss your communication preferences.
  • If you are a former client, contact us during business hours at 312-261-6193.

Opt-in or Out of Email Communications (non-Marketing)

How to opt-in to receiving emails:

  • Submit an inquiry or form to Wallace Miller, including your phone number.
  • Sign a Retainer agreement for a case with Wallace Miller and include your email address in your contact information.
  • Email any member of the Wallace Miller team, or any inbox moderated by the Wallace Miller team.

How to opt-out of receiving emails:

  • Contact your dedicated case team during business hours to discuss your communication preferences.
  • If you are a former client, contact us during business hours at 312-261-6193.

Data Usage

Your contact details are protected as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Costs and Charges

Standard SMS messaging and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's terms and conditions. Wallace Miller is not responsible for any charges incurred.

Liability

We are not responsible for delays or failures in SMS communication caused by technical issues or your mobile carrier.
